The beginning…

Aren’t beginnings interesting? They convey hope for something better, something new. They represent opportunities to improve ourselves and those around us.

Not long ago, I began considering the possibility of starting a blog. I am not sure what I would write. I doubt anyone would read it. But, I still found a desire in myself to give it a try. I want others to be able to learn from my experiences and knowledge. In fact, I believe there is some Biblical basis for this:

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. (Hebrews 13:16)

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. (1 Timothy 6:18)

Now, these verses refer mainly to physical possessions, but I don’t think it is unreasonable to extend this to wisdom and knowledge. After all, the book of Proverb is the sharing of widsom.

As to what this blog is going to be about, well, I’ve got no idea. Sometimes I may choose to write about something technical. Other times, it may be something spiritual. While there will be no common theme, the focus will always be to encourage and uplift, seeking to improve those reading.
